Protocol Test Card

The Teledyne LeCroy Protocol Test Card (PTC) is a multimodal test board used for checking adherence to the protocol-oriented sections of the PCI Express 2.0 specification.

Summit T416 Analyzer The Summit T416 is Teledyne LeCroy's latest generation of protocol analyzers targeted at high speed PCI Express 4.0 I/O-based applications such as workstation, desktop, graphics, storage, and network card applications.
Summit Z416 Protocol Exerciser The Summit Z416 is a PCIe 4.0 protocol traffic generation test tool used for critical test and verification intended to assist engineers in developing and improving the reliability of their systems. The Summit Z416 can emulate PCI Express 4.0 root complexes or device endpoints, allowing new designs to be tested against corner case issues.
Summit T3-16 Analyzer The Summit T3-16 Protocol Analyzer captures, decodes and displays PCIe 3.0 protocol traffic.data rates for x1, x2, x4, x8, x16 lane widths
Summit T3-8 Analyzer The Summit T3-8 Protocol Analyzer captures, decodes and displays PCIe 3.0 protocol traffic.data rates for x1, x2, x4, x8 lane widths
Summit T34 Analyzer The Summit T34 Protocol Analyzer captures, decodes and displays PCIe 3.0 protocol traffic data rates for x1, x2, x4 lane widths
Summit T28 Analyzer The Summit T28 Protocol Analyzer captures, decodes and displays PCIe 2.5GT/s and 5GT/s data rates for x1, x2, x4, x8 lane widths
Summit T24 Analyzer The Teledyne LeCroy Summit T24 PCI Express analyzer is for customers developing PCIe 1.0 or 2.0 x4 lane width server, workstation, desktop, graphics, storage, and network card applications.
Summit Z3-16 Exerciser with SMBus Support The Summit Z3-16 with SMBus Support is a critical test and verification tool intended to assist engineers in developing and improving the reliability of their systems. The exerciser can emulate PCI Express root complexes or device endpoints, allowing new designs to be tested against corner case issues. In addition, it can emulate SMBus traffic as a master or slave.
Protocol Test Card The Teledyne LeCroy Protocol Test Card (PTC) is a multimodal test board used for checking adherence to the protocol-oriented sections of the PCI Express 2.0 specification.
BitTracer The BitTracer Logic Display is a software option that runs on the Teledyne LeCroy Summit PCI Express Protocol Analyzers. BitTracer offers developers a physical layer view of PCI Express traffic, similar to what might be displayed on a logic analyzer, but provides this capability on a protocol analyzer. This means that developers can view bit stream traffic before it is decoded to high-level packets, to better understand where signal integrity issues may be causing data corruption.
PCIe Compliance Testing Teledyne LeCroy offers an integrated and automated compliance testing system, including the Protocol Test Card Platform, approved by the PCI-SIG as a standard tool for compliance testing for developers working with the PCIe 3.0 specification.
PCI Express host interface SSD/Drive Decode Support Teledyne LeCroy has been an industry leader in storage protocol analysis. The storage SSD/Drive technology is now moving towards a PCI Express host based interface. Teledyne LeCroy supports the following:

-NVM Express
-SCSI Express
-SATA Express
PCI Express Test Platform with SMBus Support The Summit Z3-16 Test Platform with SMBus Support allows the Summit Z3-16 to act as a host emulator, and provides a general purpose test backplane and interposer for testing Gen3, Gen2 or Gen1 hosts and devices. In addition, it supports the Summit Z3-16 with SMBus Support by providing SMBus tapping connectivity.
PXP-100B Test Platform The Teledyne LeCroy PXP-100B Test Platform provides a convenient means for testing PCIe 2.0 add-in cards with a self-contained portable and powered passive backplane. The PXP-100B provides power required for both cards under test, and an interposer can be used for connection to a protocol analyzer.
Interposers and Probes The Summit product family includes a wide variety of Interposer systems, designed to reliably capture serial data traffic while minimizing perturbations in the serial data stream. Probes include interposers, which are designed to capture data traffic crossing the PCI Express card connector interface, and MidBus probes, which are designed to capture traffic flowing within a PCB.
TeleScan PE Software TeleScan PE is a no-cost PCI Express/NVMe configuration space Read/Write utility that allows the user to scan, decode, display and write to the PCI Express/NVMe configuration space registers.
LinkExpert LinkExpert provides protocol analyzer hardware control and management while displaying high level diagnostic information about communication between host systems and devices also known as Root Complexes and End-Points.
Summit T48 Analyzer The Summit T48 protocol Analyzer is Teledyne LeCroy's latest generation of protocol analyzers targeted at high speed PCI Express 4.0 I/O-based applications such as workstation, desktop, graphics, storage, and network card applications.
PXP-400A Test Platform The Teledyne LeCroy PXP-400A Test Platform provides a convenient means for testing PCIe 4.0 add-in cards with a self-contained portable and powered passive backplane. The PXP-400A provides power required for both cards under test, and an interposer can be used for connection to a protocol analyzer.
The Teledyne LeCroy Protocol Test Card (PTC) is a multimodal test board used for checking adherence to the protocol-oriented sections of the PCI Express 2.0 specification. The PTC has been developed in close collaboration with Intel®, and is specifically designed to meet industry requirements for next generation development tools for PCI Express. The card is easily operated using a graphical interface that allows link and transaction tests to be selected and run. Results are displayed clearly with a pass or fail marker for each individual test.

This new tool will be used by validation and test engineers to check for functionality and interoperability of add-in cards, systems, and chips using PCI Express 2.0. The tests are mainly defined to check the platform (BIOS, OS and RC) and add-in devices (endpoints, switches, and bridges) in the form of an add-in card. The PTC Card is easy to use and works at both 5 GT/s and 2.5 GT/s. Simply insert the card into a PCI Express socket and test the PCI Express host or device for conformity to specifications.
